Australia Day in the City 2014

Australia Day in the City 2014 was another great success for the Australia Day Council, for the city of Adelaide and Argon Design alike. We were there on the day to soak up some of the atmosphere from the parade, party at the concert and admire the spectacular fireworks display late in the evening.

It was great to see the purple and orange, that had inundated our screens and sketchbooks over the past few months come alive on the day. Below are a few photos of the branding and the crowds which made a great overall backdrop for the day.

The Day kicked off with a parade down King William Street.

The crowd then began filtering into Elder Park.

The crowd packed onto the hill in readiness for the festivities ahead.

Then Adelaide came alive with Sarah De Bono and Timomatic before a crazily spectacular fireworks display filled the night sky.
