The Business of Writing

Argon Design was invited to present at the 2 day Business of Writing course held by Fiona McIntosh in the beautiful Clare Valley, 2 hours north of Adelaide. Jason presented, on behalf of the Argon web team, on how websites and other online tools can be used to promote writers and authors alike. The topics covered included web design, social media, upfront and ongoing website costs, WordPress (and other Content Management Systems) and e-commerce.

For those of you who aren’t aware of Fiona’s exploits, she is a bestselling fiction writer with over 30 novels under her belt with her work gracing bookstore shelves all around the world. Her extensive experience, accompanied by a variety of other industry experts, helps workshop attendees learn the necessary skills to succeed as published writers. The course is designed for early-career writers looking to learn more about the publishing industry and commercial fiction.
